Before forming JEDCA Law, P.A. in South Florida, Pedro practiced in Venezuela, representing Latin American companies in business and commercial matters, including litigation, arbitration, and anti-corruption.

Now, an integral focus of JEDCA Law, P.A.’s practice is assisting Latin American investors, business owners, and companies in expanding and succeeding in Florida and the United States. The firm regularly works with international clients from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Panamá, Venezuela, and other Latin American countries.
Pedro combines his extensive international litigation, arbitration, and mediation knowledge with his understanding of Florida’s economic landscape, evolving business environment, and regulations. He provides his clients with knowledgeable and effective legal solutions that align with their business objectives.

Legal Contributions and Recognitions
Pedro has specialized in legal matters impacting many industry sectors, including technology, energy, and food and beverages. He has also gained significant experience as a strategic advisor on anti-corruption matters in Latin America arising from the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.K. Bribery Act, and French Sapin II.

In addition, Pedro has dedicated his life to developing training and research programs in dispute resolution. His work aims to improve professional education standards and expand the use of alternative dispute resolution methods in Latin America. He works closely with arbitration and mediation centers and top law and business schools in Latin America to develop these programs. In South Florida, Pedro is active in helping the local legal community expand its practice in mediation, anti-corruption compliance, and international arbitration.

Pedro is a regular speaker at events in the U.S., Spain, and Latin America, and has participated in professional research projects on electronic discovery and digital information. He has gained academic recognition as a Law Professor and Professor of Negotiation at the top law and business schools in Venezuela. He is the former Director and Editor of Universidad Monteavila Law Review in Caracas, Venezuela.
