Ericca Cole is an experienced paralegal and retired United States Army legal professional with more than two decades of experience in litigation support, legal operations, legal training, and complex case management. Before joining JEDCA Law in 2025, she served in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, holding positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Paralegal, Senior Operations Paralegal, International Law Chief Paralegal, Trial Defense Paralegal, and Legal Assistance Paralegal.

Her experience includes support in complex litigation, discovery processes, trial preparation, legal memorandum drafting, and work involving international law matters, tort claims, regulatory compliance, immigration matters, and policy-related matters. 

Beyond her legal work, Ericca is actively involved in the Tampa Bay business community, serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations dedicated to youth development and participating in entrepreneurial organizations focused on small business growth, leadership, and economic empowerment.

Legal Contributions and Recognitions

Ericca has made valuable contributions to legal education and professional development. She led the creation and implementation of the United States Army’s first Paralegal Competency Course and a National Security Law Primer, while overseeing training for more than 40,000 legal professionals annually.

As an instructor, she trained more than 1,700 soldiers and accumulated more than 2,500 hours of instruction, and helped prepare the next generation of Army paralegals. 

​

A highly decorated Army veteran, she has received more than 45 awards and recognitions, including the Iraq Campaign Medal, Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, and Army medals for community service.

​

Her leadership has also been recognized by Syracuse University through programs supporting veteran entrepreneurship.
